Well Rooted Health is a preferred provider with many common insurance carriers including MaineCare, Aetna, BCBS/Anthem, Cigna, and MultiPlan. Please inquire if your insurance carrier is not listed.
Need-Based Care
Well Rooted Health is a not for profit entity, which provides lactation care at no cost to eligible families. If you are experiencing financial hardship, please inquire with the front office staff or your care provider about how we can help you afford the lactation care you need.
Cost
Because lactation is considered preventive care, it is often covered by insurance with no out of pocket cost. The most common reason for patients to have costs not covered by insurance are due to a lack of out of network benefits. We will always offer an estimate for the cost of care before your first visit. Patients who have no insurance coverage are eligible for payment plans as needed and prompt payment discount.
